Highly rated London five piece, Swimming Tapes, have emerged from the studio to share their first new music of 2018. A band that has ‘jangling indie’ proudly written in permanent marker on the side of a C86 cassette tape, call in at the Poetry Club on 16th November 2018 to promote their new single ‘Easy Strand’.
The single is produced and mixed by long-time collaborator Paddy Baird and is being championed by Huw Stephens BBC introducing show on Radio 1.
Louis from the band says of the single:
“Easy strand is a supportive nod to our younger selves about how the passing of time distorts memories. Moments you thought were trivial and pointless actually remain embedded in your memory as beautiful, worthwhile and meaningful times”
There will be an end of summer haze on a dark winter night and tickets are available from here.
