Into Music Reviews: The Tea Street Band – Only Love

Following their triumphant return to the studio this year, The Tea Street Band have released the third single from their album Frequency. Once again, the band have successfully integrated those two great musical powerhouses of dance and indie to incredible effect.

Only Love not only encapsulates those hugely influential sounds of the bands from the ‘80s and ‘90s Mersey and Manchester music scene, it also allows The Tea Street Band to express the full range of their artistic collaboration that they perfected at the iconic Parr Street Studios in Liverpool.

From the opening synth-infused club beat to the infectious chorus and melody, Only Love builds into a euphoric electronic anthem that will glide seamlessly into any club-set or gym, walk-to-work and pre/post night out playlist. The fusion of melodies, effects and vocals present a hypnotic five minutes of musical elation that should be enjoyed to the max wherever you hear it.

The band are back on the road again as part of a UK-wide tour, where no doubt this single will go a long way to delivering a fever pitch night for fans of the band. With two nights already sold out in their home city of Liverpool, it’s proving to be an exciting end to 2018 for the band.
